Free lunches during school closure
The district will begin offering brown-bag meal services beginning March 17, 2020 from 11AM to 1 PM at the following schools: Longfellow, Magic City Campus, Washington, Sunnyside, Perkett, and Roosevelt. This will include a lunch for the current day and a breakfast for the next morning.
Parents can pick up meals at the main entrance. You will not need to leave your vehicle. School personnel will deliver the meals to you. If you live in walking distance, just visit with school personnel located outside the school.
There is no cost for these meals, which are available for all MPS students and adults with disabilities. Feel free to stop by the most convenient school site listed above.

The Magic City Campus food pantry will also be open Monday through Wednesday this week for Magic City Campus families in need. Please contact the school at (701) 857-4500.
Following the governor’s recommendation, Minot Public School District will begin online distance learning on March 30, 2020.
- 3 lessons will be posted for each class per week.
- All lessons will be assigned through PowerSchool.
- Online communication platforms such as PowerSchool, email and First Class will be checked Mon.-Fri. at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Online communication is vital for student success and updated information for staff.
- Teachers will be available to answer questions throughout the week via email or online learning platforms. Please understand that there may be some delay in response time.
